We have a spacious back upstairs bedroom available in our shared house. The room is perfect for someone looking for a bright, cozy space with plenty of natural light throughout the day. It’s unfurnished, but we’re happy to provide furniture if needed. The lease is for at least 6 months, and the rent is $900 per month, with bills typically running about $120 each month, depending on the time of year. A $900 deposit is required. This bedroom is located at the back of the house, next to the driveway. While it can get a little warm during the day, it gets great light all day long, making it a lovely, bright space. It also has a large walk-in closet, providing plenty of room for storage. The room can comfortably fit a queen-size bed, a desk, and a TV stand. It’s right next to the bathroom, and across the hall from the other upstairs bedroom, making it convenient for easy access to shared spaces. Our house is located near 92nd and Federal in Westminster, just a 5-minute walk to several bus lines and a 10-minute drive to the RTD train station. The house has two living rooms with comfortable seating and a TV, plus an updated kitchen with new appliances, including a washer, dryer, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Bathrooms are shared, and while there are no bathrooms specifically reserved for anyone, most people stick to the bathroom on their own floor.
The roommates are friendly and easy-going. I (Aspen, 26NB) and my partner Steve (32M) live in the basement and share a room with our dog and Mike also lives downstairs. Upstairs, Summer (27F) will be across the hall from you. We’re all queer-friendly and everyone respects each other’s space and privacy. During the week, we’re usually out of the house for school or work by 9 AM, and we return anytime between noon and 10 PM. The house is generally kept tidy, though it can occasionally feel a little cluttered. We clean the upstairs common areas twice a month, and Steve and I help out as we can. We keep things respectful and considerate—please clean up after yourself and take out the trash when needed. Food in the fridge should be labeled with your name and date to avoid any mix-ups. Smoking tobacco must be done outside, but vaping or smoking flower and concentrates is fine indoors as long as a window is open to prevent triggering the smoke detectors. For parking, Steve and I park in the driveway, and there’s first-come, first-serve street parking available. We can fit three cars in front of the house, and we usually try to park near the house.
