The bedroom is at the front of the house with multiple windows and gets great natural light throughout the day. It has hardwood floors and a large walk-in closet with built-in shelving and an automatic light. The room has plenty of space — it can comfortably fit a king bed, a full desk, and a bookshelf. There’s no ceiling fan, but we can provide one if you’d like. Wifi signal is strong throughout the house. Bathrooms are shared and unassigned — you’d mostly share with the other upstairs resident.
Common areas include two living rooms, a kitchen and dining area, and a shared laundry room. We have a housekeeper come once a month for the deep cleaning nobody wants to do — that cost is baked into the rent. We just ask that everyone cleans up after themselves, does their dishes, and keeps shared spaces reasonably tidy. We’re not neat freaks, just considerate.
Rent breaks down as $900 rent + $120 utilities + $100 toward the housekeeper, yard maintenance, and shared household supplies (toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning stuff, basic condiments, etc.). The $900 deposit covers late/no move-out notice, property damage, deep cleaning, or junk hauling if needed otherwise you will get your full deposit back. We run a free background check and credit report — we’re only looking at eviction history.
The house is a 5-minute walk to several bus lines with easy access to Denver and Boulder, and a 10-minute drive to the RTD train station. Street parking is first-come, first-serve with room for about three cars in front of the house.

Right now it’s me (Aspen, 28NB) and my husband Steve. I’m a full-time master’s student and work from home about 10 hours a week for a national nonprofit — I’m usually out most of the day on weekdays. Steve is an electrician who works 7am–4pm on weekdays. We tend to attract students or people looking to keep housing costs low, or folks who just want a solid home base while life takes them places.
We’re a queer-friendly house and pretty laid-back. We care more about people being considerate than being spotless.
