Christina's room

One room available in our 5 bedroom home. We are located near the Mt. Vernon estate in a quite neighborhood in Alexandria, VA. We have converted our garage into a gym that will be available for our tenants to use. Our large backyard with gazebo, fire pit, gas and charcoal grill, patio table and chairs are all available for your enjoyment. We also have paddle boards and kayaks available for daily use if desired. Room will have a desk with computer monitors with WIFI connection. TV available with Netflix, Hulu, ESPN+, and Amazon Prime TV.

Neighborhood Description: Alexandria/Mount Vernon is in Fairfax County, and is said to be one of the best places to live in Northern Virginial. Living in the Mount Vernon area offers residents a sparse suburban feel and has many parks in the area. George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate is just one mile from our home. Our property sits on one of the original farmland plots owned by George Washington. You can drive about 30 minutes and be in the heart of D.C. Old Town Alexandria is only a quick 20 minute drive down the G.W. Parkway. The proximity to D.C. and Old Town provide opportunities for fun, while the spacious and wooded landscapes nearby and around our home to give you a sense of connection to nature. If you enjoy running/walking/biking, George Washington’s Mount Vernon Trail is just up the road from us and winds alongside the Potomac River offering uninterrupted views of Washington DC’s skyline.
Our Neighborhood is a very calm and subtle suburb with friendly neighbors. We have a beautiful outdoor living space with many amenities for you to enjoy.

Couple with a Daughter, age 13, and both military with Hawaiian style values. (Active duty Air Force and Government Employee). We have one dog named Rocko- he is very loving and sweet. I love to garden in my free time and spend time with friends and family. We have two additional female roommates, both military affiliated, and looking for someone who would like to complete the home. :)
