About the room

Preference: Female Grad students and professionals.

Public transportation is great. You are only a five minute walk to the bus stop and commuter rail. The number 15 Ruggles St. station bus takes you to Northeastern University, Wentworth college, Wheelock, Simmons, Emmanuel, Harvard medical, Harvard, public health, Massachusetts College of fine arts and pharmaceutical, The hospital District Longwood Avenue and the orange line train station. The #41 JFK/UMass bus will take you to UMass. Uphams corner commuter real will take you to South Station in less than 12 minutes. From there, you can take the red line train to Suffolk, university, Emerson College, UMass, Massachusetts General Hospital and Downtown Boston.

This is a very large room with the following items: hardwood floors, full size bed, Internet, Smart TV, chaise lounge, desk and chair, walk-in closet, dresser, full-size mirror, window fan and portable air conditioner.

The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, rice cooker, toaster, coffee, maker, refrigerator, stove, cooking, ware, and utensils, and pantry. Lots of sunshine and seating area.

Downstairs is the basement with the following items: full-size bathroom, sauna, Sony TV, bar, freezer, furniture, washer, and dryer.

The house is a four level queen. Victorian, that is divided into three apartments. There are two decks built on the back of the house. On the third level, there is a deck off from the kitchen. The other deck is much larger and is on the first level.

My neighborhood is in the lower part of North Dorchester in Upham Corner area in between Roxbury and South Boston. It is a safe neighborhood, middle income residence, and it is also a multi cultural neighborhood of Boston. The population consists of Cape Verdeans, Caribbean’s, Caucasians, Chinese, Europeans, Hispanics, and Latinos.

Given its rich, diverse population and culture, you can find various restaurants in supermarkets. You have easy access to the Dorchester brewery company along side with a southern cuisine restaurant on the rooftop on Massachusetts Ave., Seaport District on Seaport Boulevard, S. Bay Center on Allstate Rd., Castle Island and Carson Beach in South Boston, a Catholic church, a wellness gym and theater and jazz District. These places are either in the neighborhood or close to my home.

About the roomies

I am the home owner who lives on the first floor. I tend to be optimistic, and gracious. I like my life to be simple and stress-free. My house rules are part of who I am, and I wish them to be followed. They are not difficult and it is what we do at home.

The other people live on the third floor. they are great students with great personalities. They always smile and have a kind word to say. I find them to be pleasant, kind, and helpful.
