There is designated kitchen storage for each tenant and we stock cleaning supplies when we’re in town. Plenty of available kitchen appliances such as: coffee maker, toaster, pressure cooker, blender, air fryer, small grill, crockpot, etc. There is ample shared space including a nice kitchen, livingroom, upper sitting area, and large yard with raspberries and apples in the summer. There is a sitting area between the rooms, so no shared walls. Gardeners are welcome, and the living room has a piano that is open for use.
We’re a few blocks from Lents park and a few blocks from 82nd and Foster, nicely tucked into the neighborhood. Good walkability and convenient for bus stops or max line, hopping on the freeway, or onto the main roads into downtown.
It is a shared house with three levels. The upstairs houses 2 rooms. The tenants in the upper rooms share the main bathroom on the main floor. The owners use the master on the main floor with it’s own bathroom. The basement level is reserved for the owner’s use.
We are looking for someone who will keep the house a relaxing and pleasant environment, particularly those who gravitate toward doing their own thing (student, working professional, entrepreneur, etc.) Socializing is fine of course, but we are quite busy much of the time and want to keep the environment one where nobody feels obligated to entertain others.
About us a bit. We love to travel and have family in Seattle and California and will often take trips to visit them. Andy is often working on construction stuff on the house out back or other home improvement projects and does 3d printing and creative projects on the side. Nikki works online with a nonprofit in Africa helping empower impoverished women to start their own businesses. As for free time, aside from playing board games, Netflix is probably our biggest hobby.
