Temperature

The home is kept at reasonable shared-house comfort settings. During summer, the AC is typically set around 77°F–80°F. During winter, heating is typically around 72°F–75°F. Personal fans or blankets are welcome, but the thermostat is managed for the comfort of the whole house.

Noise / Quiet Hours

The home is generally quiet and calm, and we try to keep it that way. Quiet hours are strictly enforced after 10 PM.

There may occasionally be normal residential neighborhood noise, including outside parties or events nearby. There may also be occasional weekend music, grilling, or BBQ from housemates, but this is not a party house and noise is expected to stay respectful and under control.

Security Cameras

There are security cameras in shared/common areas only, including the living room, hallways, garage, pantry, and exterior areas. There are no cameras in bedrooms or bathrooms. The cameras are for safety, accountability, and protection of the home and residents.

Household

There are usually 4 to 5 roomies in the house. Everyone is expected to respect quiet hours, shared spaces, other people’s privacy, belongings, food, and personal space.

Single occupancy only. No smoking inside. There is a cozy smoking area outside.

Looking For

Looking for a clean, responsible, respectful tenant who is comfortable living in a shared home and communicating calmly if issues come up.

You may be a good fit if:

• You assume good intentions and avoid accusing others without evidence.
• You clean up after yourself and do not leave messes for others.

• You report leaks, damage, broken items, or unsafe conditions quickly.
• If rent will ever be late, you communicate early and clearly, and understand that late fees still apply.
• You are comfortable with security cameras in shared/common areas.
• You understand this is a shared home, not a private apartment.

We are friendly and respectful. The house is usually calm during the week. On some weekends there may be light music, grilling, or BBQ, but quiet hours are respected and noise is kept under control, especially after 10 PM.

The owners work in tech and are not at the house regularly, but common areas are cleaned regularly and the home is maintained. The other roommates are friendly, mostly keep to themselves, and are expected to respect shared spaces, quiet hours, and good communication.

This is a good fit for someone who wants a clean, comfortable shared home with friendly people, but not a regular party house.
