Walking distance from all the amazing restaurants in Astoria. • Each Room (same size): $1,170 + utilities, + one month security deposit. Fits a king size bed, with exterior closet. • ~15 min walk to M and R trains, 20 min walk to W,N trains. • In unit washer and dryer. Reliability: Must have stable income (at least 55k and good credit score), pass management approval, and pay rent/utilities consistently on time. Pets: One cat allowed, no dogs allowed.
About me: I’m a queer teacher in my early 30s. I work Mon-Fri and I am usually around on the weekends and during the Summer. I spend most of my time in my room, but I also enjoy watching tv/reading in the living room. I love the dynamic I have with my current roommates and would like to keep the same: Keep the party outside, always communicate when bringing guests and keep the shared spaces clean. Cleanliness: Proactive about dishes, trash, and bathroom/ common area upkeep. Guests: Unfortunately I’ve had enough bad experiences with men in the apartment, so no men sleeping over or as a frequent guest is non-negotiable. Women are more than welcome as a guest, as long as we communicate in advance and everyone feels comfortable with their staying.
