Retreat-like Sussex home. Whole house access except my bedroom. Quiet cabin-like place.
Room has queen bed with power base, bookcase, desk with lamp, chest of drawers, and Smart TV with free Netflix in bedroom. Ceiling fan with lights, and closet in room. Mattress is newer, and has always been in a zippered bed protector along with a washable cooling protector over it.
Included is electric, AC, WIFI, first floor laundry, piano. Kitchen ready to serve meals. Beautiful shower and tub. Shaded yard, large deck, chairs and grill. Outside vehicle parking, indoor parking for one motorcycle if need be. Dry basement for storage and tornado shelter. Heated separate wood shop. There’s a table saw, miter saw, workbench etc there. Get creative!
I am gone 3-4 days a week, plus I take a few weeks vacation, so you will have the place to yourself most of the time.
There is one old, small, friendly dog and cat here when I am home, so no other pets will be allowed at this time. I take them with me when I am gone. They do not have access to your room unless you invite them. They pretty much stay in my room when we are home. I keep the house very clean, no smells. I do like to burn myrrh incense occasionally.
Renter must mow lawn and do general yard care as needed. Riding mower and gas powered weed whacker supplied. Nothing crazy, most of the time it’s just sit back and relax.
This is an organic cleaning products, non-vax household. You need to have good personal hygeine and wash your own bedding and dirty clothing, and clean up your messes in the kitchen. The rent must be paid consistently.
The occasional drink is fine but anyone with a drinking problem please stay away. Sorry, no smokers.
In return, you live in a park-like setting where you can garden or work in the shop, watch deer, turkeys, and hot rods cruise by, grill and stargaze on the back patio. A flower or food gardener would love it here.
Do not apply if you can look at your history and say to yourself, no woman in her right mind would rent a room to me, I should be looking for a different arrangement.
