As a born-again and Holy Spirit filled believer in Christ, it is important that my home is a place that reflects Jesus. In terms of house rules, I say to my roommates, “If Jesus wouldn’t like, I won’t like either” - i.e. no overnight sex guests. That baseline has helped to make sure our home is a safe, comfortable place where we have mutual respect for one another. The ideal future roommate would be neat, friendly, and respectful.
