About the room
I’m looking for one roommate to share my 1100 sq ft condo. It is a 3 bedroom / 2 bath unit, but with you, the new roommate, there will only and ever be 2 people living there. I reside in the master bedroom, and the 3rd bedroom is my office. You will have your own private bedroom and your own private bathroom. And I have my own private bedroom and bathroom as well. We are at 5th and Strand, just a 5-minute walk (0.4 miles) to the beach and a couple of blocks from three different parks. It is the best neighborhood in the world in my opinion.
Your private bedroom’s dimensions / area, not including your closet = 11’3“ x 13’9“ (155 sq ft). With the closet = 11’3“ x 16’2“ (182 sq ft). The picture with the dinner table is your bedroom. I am currently using that room as a dining room, but I will remove that table from your bedroom, and buy a smaller circular dining table for the living room (I may also buy a smaller couch to replace the current couch if I need to free up more space for the new table).
Your private bathroom is the pictured bathroom. It does have a bidet with a heated toilet seat.
There is a washer / dryer inside the unit (pictured, in kitchen). The common rooms are all furnished (including couch and dining room table). Your bedroom is not furnished.
If you have a dog, this is the spot to be! And your pup is welcome here (no extra charge) as I do have my own dog as well. Or if you have no pup, that is fine as well, but I do ask that you love dogs at the very least!
If you have a cat, I would be open to it. My dog has never interacted face to face with another cat (without a window between them), but I do think that he would be happy to live with a cat.
This room is Single occupancy only. I would not be willing to rent the room out to a couple.
This room does not include a dedicated parking spot. There is only one dedicated parking spot in the parking lot for my unit, and I get that spot. However, it is relatively easy to find street parking (within 1 minute walk if not right in front of the unit). There is a bike rack in the parking lot.

About me:
44 year old male with my 6 year old pitbull mix dog, Archie. He is extremely friendly and loves all humans and all animals.
I am a very active person, in general. But basically what that means is that I work a lot. Maybe 70 hours a week? I do multiple different things for a living, and I would be happy to tell you all about it when we meet.
I don’t drink all that often, buy maybe 2-3 times a year socially. I am looking for a roommate that also does not drink regularly. Every once in a while is perfectly fine, but if you are a regular drinker, I don’t think we would be a good fit as roommates. I would also prefer someone that is not a smoker, as you are not allowed to smoke inside of the 20-unit condo complex (5 buildings of 4 units each with common courtyards).
