About the room
We’re looking for someone to take over a private room in our 2 bed / 2 bath apartment at Avalon Pasadena.
The available room is a private bedroom with its own personal bathroom, ample closet space, and the possibility of taking over some furniture from the current tenant if helpful. The rest of the apartment is shared and includes a fully furnished living room and kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, AC, dishwasher, a small storage unit, and a shared balcony overlooking the community pool.
The community has a lot to offer, including a swimming pool, hot tub, fitness room, study rooms, Amazon lockers, BBQ area, rooftop area, and parking available within the building (for an extra fee). You can find pictures and more information about the community at
Rent is $1400 per month plus utilities (all included for $200/month). There is no security deposit or application fee, though you would need to be approved by AvalonBay Communities. The current lease runs through the end of November (and could be renewed, although the rent would increase after November)
The apartment is within walking distance of Old Pasadena and Caltech, and there are lots of great restaurants just a few minutes away, so it’s an easy and convenient place to live.
