Centre Avenue
About the room
Two bedroom apartment, one shared bathroom, kitchen available (no dishwasher) by April 30th or may 1st!
The buildings 100 years old so it is a bit dingy but I haven’t had any problems with like water or electricity or anything like that. Landlord is pretty reliable! (Ex: There was mold in the old fridge and upon being told he immediately ordered a new one and had people haul it up). No signs of cockroaches or mice! Overall pretty good for the price. Just a bit ugly and layout is lowkey weird
There’s a bus stop right out the door that takes you directly to Aldi and target.
There’s a washing and drying machine in the building that you need 5 quarters for each. Unfortunately the apartment is on the top floor so you gotta take a few flights of stairs (not too bad though). WiFi is installed (I pay for it and in the case you decide this place sounds ok to you, you won’t have to pay like half or anything (unless you wanted to)). I’ve brought two AC units to this apartment so both bedrooms are equipped with one. As for heating, we’ve got water heaters in here. Trash is taken out from the back door
There’s a bed pre set up and it would be the one my old roommate used. You’ll need sheets and blankets or whatnot. For furniture, there’s just a cheap Walmart table and some metal chairs.. if a couch is purchased I will help haul it up if needed
Landlord prefers no pets but it wasn’t established that absolutely no pets are allowed at all (may be negotiable??)
Sorry this information is kinda scrambled so questions are encouraged
About the roomies
Hii my name is Cori! I’m a 20 yr old trans masc looking for genderqueer or female roommates if possible because cis men are threatening to me
I’m a huge homebody with a dubious sleep schedule (early on school days crazy late on off days). I struggle with motivation sometimes but I try to be clean and eat healthy
Hobbies.. I would like to spend more time drawing and writing but I haven’t been able to recently. Other than that, I’m a huge fan of visual novels and story games
Definitely not opposed to hanging out with roomies but I am frugal so I will stress about spending like idk 20 on a movie ticket or something
I also go to Pitt as a nursing student and work part time at a restaurant
