About the room
We are an official housing cooperative, and our group of 7 adults live communally and care for the property together. We have dinner available every night (each person cooks one night every week), and our shared meals are always vegan in nature (we keep a vegetarian kitchen).
Our co-op is conveniently located only 2 miles from Downtown. We are walking distance from Kinder Being Coffee and Government Center record store/music venue. We are also close to the Allegheny Branch of the Carnegie Public Library, the Allegheny Commons, and the river trail. And if you want to stay home, we have lots of outdoor space for picnicking, hammocking, gardening, and otherwise enjoying the sunshine right in our beautiful backyard!
About the roomies
Living in a co-op is an experience full of magic and whimsy–meeting new people, trying new foods, having deep conversations, getting energized by the creative ideas of the people around you… These are special aspects of living with others!
