Hi there! We live in an original 1950s house with amazing ocean views right on the SC municipal golf course and are looking for a couple more people (1-2, maybe 3) to join us! Close to world class surf beach Trestles and San Onofre, hiking trails and just 10 min drive or ebike ride to downtown San Clemente. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with plenty of street parking and friendly neighbors. There are also parks and restaurants in walking/biking distance.
🏡 About the house! There are two main sections: one half is a large converted garage where I (property manager) live with my partner and one very sweet, 6 year old well-trained Boxer/Shepherd pup 🐶. The other half is the main part of the home where you would be living.
🛋️ On this side are the main living room space with brick fireplace (this room is partially furnished with bookshelves and lamps) and two bedrooms (unfurnished) with a shared bathroom. You’ll have full access to this living room to make it your own!
The front bedroom with ocean view 🌊☀️ has a sliding door that opens to a patio area and is $2850. The smaller back room (window that opens to the backyard) is $1650 (this back bedroom could be rented as an extra room/office space. We can discuss price if this interests you). These two rooms have a shared bathroom with tub (original blue tile, fun & funky). Both rooms have great storage space above the built-in closets and I can also offer more storage space in the garage if needed.
🚙 The garage is 2-car (with lots of bicycles too as I love cycling! I have two e-bikes as well that can be borrowed. we can discuss!) Our two cars fill the garage but willing to negotiate if you want a parking space.

👨🍳 The kitchen, which divides the two sections of the house is a shared space (original yellow tile, very cute). Behind the living room and kitchen is another room that leads to the backyard. This will be a work space for Katie & I but is also ok for quick access to the backyard!
🧺 There is a washer/dryer and utility sink behind the kitchen and hanging lines on the side of the house.
⛳️ There are also stunning ocean and golf course views throughout the house and the backyard has plenty of space to chill, start a garden etc.
🍊 There’s already an active orange tree that you are more than welcome to enjoy! We are very pet friendly but unfortunately cannot have cats due to allergies.
🪴The house setup ensures you’ll have plenty of privacy and personal space while the communal kitchen offers a little bit of socializing if you’re so inclined. We’ll mostly hang on our side of the house with exception of cooking meals, eating breakfast at the kitchen table (when not running out the door!) etc.
I, Ryan, have lived in this property almost 6 years and love it here. I work a day job in Irvine 4 days a week and am also pursuing a career in the performing arts. Katie, my partner, teaches part time at Orange County School of Performing Arts, works part-time as a florist for events/weddings and she does some pet-sitting too. LGBTQ friendly is very important for us 🌈
We’re both very active and enjoy spending time outdoors, crafting, dancing, watching movies, listening to music, etc! 🌳 🚲 🎵
We also enjoy cooking so you’ll definitely find us cooking a tasty meal a few days a week. 🥄
