I’m looking for a roommate and have already gotten permission from property manager so you’d have to apply and check with them if there is any deposit. I’ve been here a year and already established with utilities so you just pay your split. Medium sized room with sliding glass doors that open up to screened patio. Patio in front of townhome too. You will have your own toilet but share a shower. Little park across the street. It’s not a big town home but so far they have kept up on repairs and it’s a nice little place for the age of it. Would prefer that you provide a personal reference or roommate reference and I can provide a personal reference as I’ve not had roommates before.
I’m 60 but have friends all ages. I tend to make younger friends because I seem to be different than a lot of women my age with liking Bad Bunny and having a potty mouth! I’m clean but not fanatical with the house cleaning. I’m never mean or hateful, very empathetic person and always communicate openly. If you are a good roommate and kind to me I’ll pay more than half of the split. I buy all the cleaning supplies because I use all natural things due to my asthma and allergies. Roommate cannot use any air fresheners, hairspray or cologne in here unless it’s a natural chemical free brand. I’m a homebody haven’t met a lot of people since moving to New Bern so it’s rare I have anybody at the house and usually it would only be on the weekends. I have to have my sleep on the nights I work lol
I’ve had a rough couple of years after losing a home I owned in Vanceboro to mold and having to move to New Bern. I just would like to have some good people around me. I will never be mean or cranky to you. Sometimes at bedtime or if I’m sick I might have a tense tone of voice but I’m never condescending or unkind to anyone. You can decorate your bedroom and bathroom and of course we can compromise on living room, kitchen Etc. I lost all my belongings from the old home that had mold, had to start completely from scratch and so have just bought dining room table and some decorations and haven’t even put them up yet. Would prefer someone lgbtq- friendly because I’m pansexual. Definitely don’t want a roommate that is racist. I would be open to a roommate that has a child but they couldn’t be here on Thursdays and Fridays when I do Telehealth because I have to be careful about client privacy with HIPAA.
