About the room

I’m looking to rent multiple bedrooms in a 5 bed, 2 bath second floor flat located within walking distance of Central Square. Two rooms are available for subletting through this month with the option to sign a lease for next year.

The pictured bedroom is 1,300. Other available rooms vary from 1,100 to 1,050. Utilities, including Wi-Fi, are usually around $50 a month per person.

The room features large bay windows with a view facing the rising sun, allowing for plenty of natural lighting. Even with a bed and desk, the room is still spacious and also has a small closet for storage.

The unit features a well-equipped kitchen, two shared bathrooms, a small common area with a couch, counter-top seating and a balcony. There is a washer/dryer located in the unit. The apartment also has a patio area with seating and a bike rack.

The apartment is a 10-minute walk from the Red line at Central. 10-minutes in the other direction will put you at Inman’s square, a hotspot for bars and restaurants. A 15-20 minute walk or a single stop train ride gets you to Kendall Square, a hub for Biotech jobs. There is no dedicated parking, but street parking is available with a Cambridge parking permit.

About the roomies

I’m the only current tenant, a young male professional working in biotech. I tend to spend a lot of time in my room, but often spend time in the common area with my cat. He’s an overly-curious, friendly cat that enjoys spending time in various spots around the apartment. Other cats are welcome but no dogs :(. Tenants should ideally be comfortable with living with a cat.
