I’m looking to rent a bedroom in a 5 bed, 2 bath top floor flat located within walking distance of Central Square. The room is available for a September 1st move in.

The pictured bedroom is 1,440. Utilities, including Wi-Fi, are usually around $80 a month per person.

The unit features a well-equipped kitchen, two shared bathrooms, a small common area with a couch, counter-top seating and a balcony. There is a washer/dryer located in the unit. The apartment also has a patio area with seating and a bike rack The apartment is a 10-minute walk from the Red line at Central. 10-minutes in the other direction will put you at Inman’s square, a hotspot for bars and restaurants. It’s also a brisk 15 minute walk to Kendall/Tech Square. There is no dedicated parking, but street parking is available with a Cambridge parking permit.

I’m one of 4 roommates at the unit. As a prospective tenant you’lI meet all the roommates before signing the lease, so they’ll be able to introduce themselves in their own words. The unit also has 2 cats.

I like to spend a lot of time in my room, but often spend time in the common area with my cat. He’s an overly-curious, friendly cat that enjoys spending time in various spots around the apartment. Tenants should ideally be comfortable with living with a cat.
