Second-story bedroom, approximately 11 feet by 14 feet. LOVELY newer queen-size mattress and sturdy bed. Tons of storage are available in the armoire, dresser, nightstands, and closet. 10.1 cubic foot Mini-fridge available in the room. Smaller closet. Hardwood floors. Fire escape ladder. Ecobee thermostats and sensors. Nest fire alarm. Hardwood floors. Quiet housemates. Locking doors (including your bedroom) and a monitored security system onsite.

This second-story room is located in the northern corner of the home, and the bedroom window gets morning light.

Location: Convenient North Raleigh location near Wegmans, Costco, Trader Joe’s, Harris Teeter, Starbucks, and Lidl. The location is about 3 miles to 440 and about 3 miles to 540. The home is about 2 blocks from Millbrook High School/ Millbrook Fire Department.

I also live here. I can only host ONE person per room due to City of Raleigh zoning restrictions.

Headphones are appreciated when watching TV, gaming, etc after 9 PM or as housemates agree.

This home is a good fit for a busy professional, working person, busy retiree, traveling worker, or student who needs a clean, quiet, touch-down space while in school. You may be looking for a restful space while here for work or an internship, etc. I’m social but busy.

The home is undergoing renovations, with kitchen renovations in progress. Photos to be added. This kitchen is FULLY furnished with lots of good kitchen gadgets. :) It has a 44-inch sink, an induction cooktop, a Breville toaster oven, filtered water, instant hot water (coming soon), and other conveniences.

Laundry notes: No detergent pods The primary laundry is upstairs in the shared bathroom- no lugging of laundry and has the following: One regular LG washing machine One LG Sidekick washing machine One regular LG dryer One back-up mini-dryer

Downstairs: One full-size all-in-one LG washer/ dryer One smaller LG Sidekick washing machine You can run laundry anytime except during on-peak weekday hours, which vary by season

Rent is due for the following month at least one week BEFORE the end of the month.

I do write leases and receipts. Life happens, and people’s plans and lives change. I ask for 45 to 60 days’ notice so that I can find a new housemate. And I do the same for you unless you break the following house rules:

• No smoking or vaping, etc., in or out of the house.
• You don’t follow the kitchen rules for cleanliness in shared spaces
• You do not keep your room clean, and you accumulate trash
• You commit theft.
• You do not remove the trash daily from your room
• You are unkind and inconsiderate of other housemates or me
• You engage in substance abuse
• You smoke/vape anywhere on the property
• You engage in excessive alcohol use
• You disturb the peace/safety of housemates
• You engage in any law-breaking activities
• You consistently fail to pay the rent on time (more than twice)
• You engage in any law-breaking activities.

Breaking rules that involve safety, health, peace of mind, and legal matters will result in immediate eviction. For other matters, you will receive notice.

Housemates are usually students, interns, or working professionals. The house has a laid-back, quiet feel. No additional pets.

Most of us are so busy that we don’t do a lot of home socializing. Since COVID happened, we’ve shied away from having overnight guests, which is working well for the current long-term roomies. The walls here are thinner, and noises can carry.

We like to keep the kitchen dishes in order so that each person can enjoy using the kitchen.
