Hi everyone! Looking for a housemate in a 3 bed. 2 ba. house, private room unfurnished (furnished pictures for example). The room includes a closet and fan. This room’s bathroom is shared with 1 other. Available 4/1/26. The home has new appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas stove, fridge), new mini-split AC in every room, tile heating, and a gas fireplace. The home has a large backyard (with a small garden, charcoal grill, and seating areas) and a 2 car garage. The house is in a nice and calm suburb, next to a library, with biking/running trails. Gas/electric/internet are not included, but split amongst 3 of us are $40-70 /mo. Water and trash included. Rent price is for 6+ mo. lease. Shorter lease could be accommodated but longer leases will be given priority. Deposit due at lease signing, first+ 1/2last month rent due at move-in. Proof of income is required. No smoking allowed inside. Pets must get along with 1 small friendly female cat in the house. Housemate is expected to be neat and follow house rules, for example on cleaning duties, having guests, etc. We are looking for someone that would be a right fit, so there will be an interview/questions followed by a showing. Current roommates are myself (29 y/o male PhD student at LANL) and a male who works and is an online student. We’re both very respectful, clean, and discuss any things that come up about the house or living together. The house is pretty quiet and tranquil most days while we work (often away, sometimes from home). We are LGBT+ friendly, like to get outside, and love our cats/plants and being social!
