Welcome to our home! We’re excited to have you rent a room in our safe and family-friendly neighborhood. Our house is equipped with plenty of parking, internet, kitchen use, washer and dryer facilities, and a TV room with two TVs, Pac-Man arcade machine, and games. You’ll also have access to filtered water from the fridge and an air fryer.
To ensure a comfortable and stress-free living environment, we’ve established some house rules that we’d like you to follow. These rules are designed to promote respect for each other’s space and belongings. Some key guidelines include:
Keeping your assigned kitchen area clean and washing your dishes regularly (temporary storage containers are provided for busy days)
No dirty dishes in the sink
Respecting allocated spaces in the kitchen and bathroom
No pets allowed
No children
1.5 baths not 2, website does not recognize the term 1.5. You’ll be sharing a bathroom with two other males, and we’re proud of the clean and respectful environment we’ve maintained. To keep it that way, we ask that you do your part in cleaning up after yourself. Unfortunately, we’ve had to let go of previous tenants who didn’t meet our expectations in this regard, whether it was leaving dirty dishes or messes in the kitchen or bathroom, or even unpleasant odors emanating from their room.
We’re looking for tenants who respect not only the house and their fellow roommates, but also themselves. If issues arise that disrupt the household and other tenants start considering leaving, we’ll have to find a new tenant who prioritizes cleanliness and respect for others.
To ensure a stable and secure living environment, we require a upfront payment to secure your tenancy. This payment includes:
First month’s rent: $600
Last month’s rent: $600
Security deposit: $400
Total move-in cost: $1,600
This payment structure helps us ensure that our tenants are financially prepared for the responsibilities of renting a room in our home. We’ve found that this upfront payment helps to establish a foundation for a stress-free tenancy, allowing us to work together to maintain a comfortable and respectful living environment.
I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in meeting this requirement.
