About the room

Hello!

We have a single upstairs room in a 3 bedroom house located in a larger intentional co-living community.

Room #3 is 140 sqft and $700 plus $100 utilities. The room is located on the second floor with a east-facing window. The bathroom is shared with 2 other people.

Are you someone who thrives in group settings? Do you love actively building meaningful connections and working collaboratively towards shared goals? If so, we’re looking for someone like you!

Our community is tucked away on a quiet street and within walking distance of cafes and New Seasons. We are an intergenerational (21-60+) community consisting of four interconnected houses that share a courtyard. Our group has a wide variety of personalities, backgrounds, and identities (LGBT+ friendly) and we enjoy getting together for sometimes planned, sometimes spontaneous community dinners and gatherings. Community members have a good balance of opportunities to spend time with others and having their own space to retreat to.

We’re searching for people who bring positive energy, have capacity to intentionally engage with others, good communication skills, and are willing to contribute a few hours a month to community events and efforts. This includes regularly attending our monthly community meeting, contributing to a community team, and doing your household chores (in addition to cleaning up after yourself in common spaces).

We are a low/no drama community, and while we enjoy the occasional dance party, we have quiet hours, and the atmosphere is generally very peaceful. Some of our interests include gardening, art, making music, going to concerts, dancing, reading, karaoke, board games, picnicking, and drinking tea.
