Hello roomies:)

We have two open rooms available in our intentional community (in separate buildings) and are looking for folks interested in joining.

The rooms are both 125 sqft. & rent is $705 (plus a flat rate of $100 utilities). They’re both located in ADUs which have 2 other roommates. One room is located on the second floor with eastern facing windows and the other open room is located on the first floor with a southern facing window (lots of light!). The bathrooms for both are separated out, so there’s a room with a sink/toilet and one with a sink/shower. Can send a video walkthrough if helpful!

We’re on a quiet dead end road on the border of Cully/Concordia, within a very short walking distance from Fernhill park and the Concordia New Seasons. We’re also just a slightly longer walk (~20 min) from Alberta and Fremont St.

Unfortunately both open rooms have roommates who are allergic to dog / cat dander so at this time we cannot accept pets

Our group is intergenerational (21-65+) with a variety of personalities, backgrounds, and identities (LGBT+ friendly). The layout consists of four interconnected houses that surround a courtyard and there’s about 20 of us in total spread throughout the buildings.

We’re looking for people who enjoy socializing, bring positive energy, have time and capacity to intentionally engage with others, good communication skills, and are willing to contribute a few hours a month to community events and efforts. This includes regularly attending our monthly community meeting, contributing to a community team, and doing your household chores (in addition to cleaning up after yourself in common spaces).

We are a low/no drama community, and while we enjoy the occasional late night hangout, we do have quiet hours, and the atmosphere is generally very peaceful. Some of our interests include gardening, crafting, biking, foraging, movies, reading, board games, picnicking, and having meals together.
