The homeowner is an early retired, divorced gay male, who travels a fair amount and is the only other resident here. I have lived in ten states and traveled extensively. both domestically and internationally, so I am culturally aware and open-minded . As a result, I am a good conversationalist and I have a good appreciation of humor, as well. At the same time, I am respectful of the other person’s desire for privacy. My most recent housemate was here for eight months, while he looked for something to buy. I’ve had housemates for as long as five years, so this lets you know that this is a very stable situation. I have remained friends with at least four former housemates here, all of whom have moved on to their own homes. I happily share an occasional meal and baked goods with my tenant
For a housemate, I seek a mature, full-time working male who is open-minded, relatively easy going, and who has a positive outlook on life. Ideally, the guy would want to be here at least through the summer, as I have plans to be away on a couple of trips, for a total of about four or five weeks, so someone in transition could work as well as someone needing longer accommodations.
