Kari's room

It’s a cozy house with a maximalist decor full of art, books and plants. I’ve included a photo! There’s a back yard and an empty lot next door. I fill the backyard with flowers and plants when it’s warm enough. The room itself is on the second floor next to mine. My other housemate lives up on the third floor. Bathroom is shared. It’s not perfect aesthetically but it’s cheap and we’re friendly and responsible. The whole house is furnished except the room. We have a washer and dryer in the basement. The room itself is a small white room with blue carpet and a large window. There is an open closet as well.

I’m a woman in my 30s that works at CMU and my housemate is in her mid 20s and is going to Pitt and working at Starbucks. We both like Kpop. We’re both queer. I like film and art and cultural performances. Boundaries are clearly communicated when it comes to sharing things. We all contribute to bills and chores equally and expect the same. Neither one of us has people over often and we both respect each other’s need for quiet. Neither one of us have parents that visit or kids. We have small parties a few times during the year and aren’t big drinkers. We are both single. I have a dog and a cat. They’re both sweeties and not too needy.
