Wooden deck with shared outdoor living room, large dining table, chairs, couch, old oak tree canopy, nearby creek, succulent garden, nightly froggies serenade. Space is only appropriate for one single person, sorry, no couples, pets. Will consider children that will visit. Hoping to find someone who is employed outside the home, as am I. House is on cul-de-sac, quiet family neighborhood, absolutely no tobacco, drugs, alcoholics. Also, home is a small, tidy space, while there is ample room for your clothing and a few possessions, there is no “extra” storage space around the house or property. I keep all common areas very clean, but do not want to do others dishes or pick up after them. I treat this space as a sanctuary, a welcome relief from my boisterous work environment, and hope to find someone who feels the same way. Please note, this listing is in Topanga Canyon, a car is an absolute must! This house is typical old Topanga, it is built up against the side of a hill, the driveway is very short and steep with old, chipped asphalt. There are ten cement steps leading up to the front door, (there is a very sturdy handrail.) This space is suitable for someone who is fit in mind, body and spirit. Much care has been put into this home, it is ideal for someone who is traveling light and needs a safe, serene space to come home to.
Currently I am the only other person living in the house, although I am actively searching for a qualified person to rent the master bedroom, (see listing on this site). I have a tiny, twelve year old, nine pound dog (super friendly) which accompanies me to work and everywhere else possible, and one parrot, (Eclectus), (caged, in my area only), my dog is almost always next to me in my chair. I work long hours on the Venice Beach Boardwalk. When home I am usually asleep, getting ready for work, cleaning, or looking at my phone in my area, (headphones).
