Beautiful woodland area, Topanga Oaks. Private room with Queen size bed, two large bureaus and shelves. Walk-in closet with brand new mini fridge! Heat and air in room with remote control. Door has doorknob with inside privacy lock and key lock, secure your belongings when away. Please note that while there is ample room for your wardrobe and a few belongings, there is absolutely no “extra storage space” for random bins, boxes, and belongings. Room and house is fully furnished, there is zero room for more furniture, this is a small Topanga cottage! House is super clean and tidy and I wish to keep it that way, stacking boxes and bags around house or premises will not be permitted. There is a wooden deck with large new table and chairs and large sofa under amazing oak tree canopy, which you are welcome to enjoy. Succulents, bird baths , and nightly froggies serenade.

I have lived here 10 years and love it in Topanga! I work long hours on Venice Beach Boardwalk. I have one 12 lb elderly dog that accompanies me to work and almost everywhere else, (store, etc.) as I don’t like to leave her. I have one older cat that is usually asleep. They would not be allowed in your area, and sleep next to me at night. I have a medium size parrot (eclectus) that is caged in my area, next to my bed. It is only allowed out on top of cage when I am right there! It will alert to strangers entering, but after a couple times will not react to your presence. I very rarely watch tv, or play music. If I did I would try to do it when roommates aren’t present. Although I love my workplace (Venice Beach Boardwalk, it’s very loud and boisterous, when I come home I really cherish that chill Topanga vibe, where the only musicians are the frogs of Topanga Creek. I use headphones to listen to my phone in bed, so as not to disturb or be disturbed. I keep all common areas very clean, but don’t want to do others dishes or pick up after roommates. When I am home I am usually asleep or in my area looking at my phone (headphones.) on days off I do errands and clean, although I also light clean bathroom every other day. Searching for someone that works full time outside the home, (sorry, no remote, work from home, part time or retired) and is healthy in mind, body, and spirit. It would be awesome to find someone awake and aware. Place is a great money saver for someone traveling light and looking for a safe, serene place to come home to. Please note, this listing is in Topanga, a car is an absolute must! Looking forward!
