Hello! I am renting a room in North Denver home.
Room: in the basement but it’s above ground. It is a HUGE room, comes with a double closet, and doesn’t share a wall with any other room.
Bathroom: You would share a bathroom with me and 1 other person.
Utilities: $25/month flat fee
Parking: Garage spot is available for $50/month. Street parking if you don’t want a garage spot.
Location: North Denver – 88th and Washington, located a half mile from the light rail station, 15 min drive to downtown.
The space: Recently renovated, new appliaces, open floor plan, newly built kitchen, huge backyard, washer/dryer in unit, natural lighting. I’ve fully furnished the kitchen and living room. You just need to furnish your own room.
House Culture: emphasis in clean shared spaces (especially the kitchen). There is no smoking of any kind, no partying, and no drug use. We don’t have guests over (or very minimually) out of respect for the shared space and roommate privacy. We are friendly but also respect personal space and privacy. This is a quiet atmosphere to accommodate different schedules and daily quiet hours from 10pm-8am are enforced.
Qualifications: steady employment and 2x income to rent.
Application process: A background, credit, and eviction check through a nuetral 3rd party platform. 2 landlord references and a employment reference.
Lease Term: month-to-month or short term lease to start with a posibility of extension if it’s a good fit for us both.
