About the roomies

The roommates: Hudson (any pronouns, 22, white, queer/trans, Aries): I’m a barista, biker, climber, and abolitionist. When I’m not pouring latte art, I love to cook, read, write, go to small concerts, and listen to new music. I also play piano and sing a bit! For me, home is a place to unwind, but I’d also love to start hosting some more small gatherings (i.e. dinners, game nights, mellow jam sessions). I’m also autistic; alternative lighting works best for me, and I’m often wearing headphones or earplugs. Julia (she/her, 24, white, queer, Taurus): I am a teacher at an early childhood education center, so I work in-person everyday. I need a good amount of time at home to re-charge, and enjoy keeping my space clean (and decorated) so that it’s a nice place to be. I love reading, cooking, collecting trinkets, sewing, and sharing meals & creative projects with others. I would love to know what you’re looking for in a co-living space!

We each moved into the apartment in July and June respectively, so are still settling in and decorating! Our roommate who’s moving out is taking quite a bit of the furniture. We would love to make space for items you might have, and are excited to search FB marketplace (among other places) for some new pieces. We have a private landlord who is quite flexible, so we can paint the walls and hang art/shelving, etc. We are open to lizards, turtles, fish and many more, but no dogs or cats (allergies!). We are also both 420 friendly, but prefer that people smoke outside!
