About the room
Large, 2300+ square foot house at the juncture of Regent Square, Park Place, and Point Breeze. Walking distance to Frick Park, the East End Co-Op, The Frick, Biddle’s Escape, Madeleine Bakery, etc. Lots of nearby transit and non-permit street parking right in front. A bus stop across the street. The house is a newer remodel with hardwood floors and large bathrooms and bedrooms. In-house free laundry on the main floor is included. All new appliances throughout. Fenced backyard for gardening, front and back decks. Massive open, double living room with high ceilings. AC, heat. Two extra smaller rooms- probably an office and storage space for joint housemates use. Or as private extra space for slightly more rent if you’d like one to yourself. Basement storage too. Metal balconies on 2nd and 3rd floors. Shared bathrooms with an extra main floor bathroom with shower. Utilities will be split evenly.
About the roomies
My preference is young professionals or older grad students but if you fit the bill otherwise and have the funds, I’m flexible. Drug & alcohol-free, non-smokers. This is a calm and clean house with a dedication to being responsible, being respectful of each other, and openly communicating like adults. The lease runs until July with a renewal option after if this works well. Cats are okay but the landlord doesn’t want dogs. Candidates should be vaccinated, be able to pass a background check/no criminal history, and able to verify employment or savings. References are also encouraged. It’s a calm house, that adheres to normal working schedules, and prioritizes working with each other. I’m a young LGBT working professional in sports media and prioritize my job and personal growth while maintaining a stable environment to support both. People of the same mindset are desired.
