“The Green Room” is a single room with a private en-suite bathroom and large walk-in closet in a shared 2 bedroom condo. The room (11ft x 14ft) is filled with natural light and comfortably fits a double bed, shelves, and a home office. The room features brand new sound-insulted windows as well as a brand new air conditioning and heating system with the ability to control temperature and customize fan setting. Additionally, you would have your own walk-in-closet (4ft x 7ft) with 2 dressers available for storage and your own en-suite bathroom. The bathroom features a full bath and shower with great water pressure and ample storage available. The room can come furnished or unfurnished per your request - full/double bed + new mattress, bookshelves, desk, and desk chair are available for use with the room. Beyond the private bedroom and attached bath, you will be welcome to enjoy the shared amenities of the fully outfitted, newly renovated kitchen and shared living area, with a comfortable couch and tv. The unit is easily accessible on the 1st floor of the building, with just 9 steps leading up to the landing. The building complex is a small, friendly, secure gated community with a lovely pool and easy access to all the benefits of Santa Monica. A Santa Monica city parking permit will be provided for free street parking. The complex has a well maintained pool, communal barbecue, and a beautiful top deck with outdoor seating overlooking the trees and park for entertaining and enjoying a morning coffee. You would be right across the road from the beautiful Virginia Park and library, with a wonderful Farmer’s Market on Saturdays. Fantastic coffee shops, restaurants, Whole Foods and Ralph’s (Grocery stores) all within a few blocks walking distance, 3 blocks to Santa Monica College (SMC), 10 minute bike ride to the beach or downtown Santa Monica and the Santa Monica Pier. We have surf boards and boogie boards that don’t get used enough and are calling your name!

We are a relatively quiet, relaxed married couple in our early 30s and have an adorable 3 year-old dog, a medium-sized female black lab-mix. We are foodies that like to have fun going out with friends, chill, swim in the pool, play games (video or board games), or just have a low key stay-at-home movie night, but not excessive drinking or partying. We both work full time, with one working-from-home. We would prefer someone who is working or going to school and knows how to be responsible for themselves, respectful of the shared space and belongings, and can maturely handle their own lives.
