Rachel's room

I’m on the second floor of a luxury gated apt community. You’d have your own room and bathroom. Overhead light. Regular size closet. Window with view. The community has a pool and gym etc. We would split the electric and water bill in half which would be maybe roughly $75 per month I’m guessing at most. I can help provide some furniture like a small nightstand or side table or shelves. I may be able to provide a twin bed.

In my free time I love to explore the mountains and hike or visit local restaurants and wineries. I also love to volunteer with animals. I work a lot and have a lot of jobs but am home quite a bit as my main job is work from home. I have one senior pug and a fluffy cat. I like to cook when I have time and would be happy to share whatever I make. I ideally would prefer an intern or student or someone who is here for a season or semester, like a professional who will be busy doing their own thing. Ideally no pets but open to consider case by case. I do not smoke. I like to drink wine at night in my room watching tv (at respectable low volume). I do not bring people over or hold parties or have random people sleeping over. I would prefer the same from a roommate. Smoking is not allowed at my apartment complex at all in general (I did not make that rule but smoke gives me a headache so I’m ok with it). I do clean and try to maintain a “tight ship”. Sometimes I leave dishes in the sink for a few hours. With my pets, pet hair is a non stop battle so if you’re obsessive compulsive about cleaning that will not work. I clean up after myself and believe in common courtesy. I need some help financially and am here hoping to find someone else like minded. I also have a huge tv in my living room and a lot of streaming apps. You are welcome to play video games on there or watch tv on there. Thank you for reading!!
