Looking for a female roommate to sublease a private bedroom with shared bathroom in a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom rent-controlled apartment located in Santa Monica around 22nd St and Wilshire Blvd. The bathroom is located across the hall from the room and would share with the office space but I don’t use it that often so it’s almost a private bathroom. But since it’s in the hallway, people who come to visit the apartment would also use that bathroom. The photos are taken with current roomie’s stuff but the room will rent unfurnished/ not decorated. We are all really chill and easy going. There will be 2 other roomies living full time with you. We are all about open communication and splitting responsibilities up fairly.

Lease starts Aug 1, 2023 (not flexible). This would be a sublease contract with me as your Sublandlord. This would be for a 1 year lease that transitions to an on going month to month contract following that year. Utilities is split between all roomies (utilities not included in rent price).

Parking is relatively pretty easy. We get parking permits for our tenants that allow you to park all day/ for multiple days but our street actually has free 2-hr parking which is nice for our guests. We also have one space in the carport that we all share collectively.

The apartment is in a great location: walking distance to Whole Foods and Trader Joes. 4 blocks from a park. 3/4 of a mile to a Target and Rite Aid. Not far from a hospital.

Currently, there is one female roommate and one male roommate both in their late 20s who live in the apartment full time, and another room which used part-time as an office space/ guest room for me. I am a married, soon to be mama that spends most of my time in Manhattan Beach but come up to Santa Monica every now and again since my best friends live next door. I also have a pomeranian dog who accompanies me when I come.
