Hello everyone! My roommate got a new job and is moving closer to work so I’m looking for a new roommate for a 2 bed 1 bath place in Southside with off-street parking, a patio, and lots of basement storage. It’s on a nice tree-lined street near Southside Works. Move in date can be anytime between July 10-31.

The available room is huge and takes up the entire 3rd floor so it’s pretty private and secluded from the rest of the living space. It has exposed brick and a large closet. A dedicated off-street parking spot is included for free. Also I have a few upgrades planned for this apartment, namely a light kitchen and bathroom renovation. Lease duration flexible. It has beautiful views of the city and receives lots of light from north and south facing windows. The room for rent is unfurnished but the rest of the apartment is furnished. I’m open to redecorating or bringing in new furniture though. The climate in the third floor room is individually controlled, separate from the rest of the apartment. There is a large patio behind the house. There’s lots of organized storage and shelving in the basement. Updated washer/dryer in unit.

It’s a couple blocks from Pins Bowling, Levity Brewing, the outdoor concert space, and the other new Southside Works developments - as well as the marina, riverfront park and trails connecting Southside to downtown and beyond. It’s a short walk from the rest of Carson Street’s offerings - restaurants, night life, shopping, etc., although it’s much quieter and calmer this far down.

Hi! I’m Kirby. I work downtown for a wealth management firm. I love fitness, reading, hiking, biking, camping, and motorcycles. I like to keep a clean house but not ocd about it. I meal prep once or twice a week. I work from home 3 days a week. I travel a lot and spend half a week or a week away quite often.
