Hello! I’m looking for a roommate who has a well-trained and playful dog who can be a full-time play pal with my dog.

We would be sharing a 1,659 sq ft, 2 bed 2.5 bath apartment that is next to the American Airlines Center and near the Katy Trail in Dallas’s Victory Park neighborhood. The building offers plentiful amenities, including 24/7 concierge, complimentary valet, gym, pool, clubhouse, pet spa, package lockers, etc. Your room (top left on the floor plan) is unfurnished and has a private bathroom and a walk-in closet.

Your share of the monthly rent is $1,000, which includes utilities. You are responsible for one-time fees paid to the leasing office: $125 application, $350 dog admin fee.

As my 4-year-old Border Collie loves to play, and getting a second dog is too much responsibility, I’m looking for a roommate with a playful and well-trained dog so the two of them can be full-time best friends. A breed with similar temperament would be ideal (e.g., herding breeds, poodles, goldens, labs), and please note that the building prohibits aggressive breeds. Your dog should be neutered/spayed and up-to-date on all shots (rabies, DHPP, lepto, Bordetella) and preventative medications (fleas, ticks, heartworm).

I would prefer to be roommates with someone who has a steady office job with a consistent schedule and minimal travel, who does not smoke or do drugs, and is close to my age (32). I’m also looking to get better at tennis if you play! The public court at Reverchon Park is within walking distance. If you are in a relationship, your S.O. is welcome to visit occasionally but must have their own home where they live the vast majority of the time, and please make sure to invite them along when we first meet. A roommate agreement is required.
