The room is an office, so limited on items that can be placed. Office cabinets may be used, but you will find it difficult to fit both a queen bed and a dresser in there. There is a closet for clothing/storage, as well as built in cabinets.
Newly remodeled home. Big kitchen. New appliances. Home has A/C. Home is on busline, and there is off street parking.
Storage may be available for an extra fee. I have a huge 36ft x 48ft shed in the back.
All utilities and internet included. TV will have no cable (way too expensive), but will have some streaming services (Netflix, Prime). Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Dishwashing Detergent, and Hand Soap also included. All you need is your laundry detergent and bathroom soap/shampoo, etc..
1st and last month’s rent required and security deposit equal to one month’s rent. Criminal Background check required and Renter to pay fee, but will be refunded upon move-in.
No heavy alcohol use. No marijuana or smoking use as the smell of marijuana (edibles okay) and cigarette smoke makes me ill, even if just on clothes, so absolutely no marijuana or cigarette smokers allowed (even if smoking outside). No pets of any kind. There are already 2 indoor cats in the home, and they do not get along with other animals.
Must be able to clean up after yourself and respect the other roommates shared areas (i.e. kitchen, bathroom, etc.).
Male or female are welcome. One person per room.
I am a straight male in my late 40’s. I don’t mind the occasional chilling and watching movies with housemates.
I do not have the Covid vaccine and will not get it, so if that is a concern, this will not be a good fit.
I have had roommates before, and three now (one moving out), and never had a problem getting along, as long as the house rules are obeyed and the shared chores are done (i.e. clean up after yourself).
I do not want to clean up after anyone. Shared areas should be kept clean.
I will be living here as well, so I will be very selective who I choose to live here.
Myself and two other roommate live here. Your bathroom will be shared with the other two roommates.
