I have a beautifully renovated lake house situated directly on the water in Macon. The neighborhood itself is directly off Exit 9 of I-475 so there is easy access to the city as well. Major hospitals and downtown Macon nightlife are 15 minutes away by car. Major shopping is right outside the neighborhood.

I have renovated the house myself so I am looking for someone who is responsible and mindful of the property, so you must be clean and non-destructive. Smoking is okay so long as it’s on the balcony, but you will be spending most of your time out on the balcony anyways since it’s so pretty!

You will have the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom for your privacy. The bedroom has a large closet with plenty of mirrors and storage, two windows overlooking the lake, and enough room for a large queen bed. The bathroom has a large double vanity, exposed brick wall, huge garden soaker tub and shower combo (with handheld faucet and rainhead combo) enclosed by a nice sliding glass door.

The common area is a open concept 1200 sq ft space, with a 70“ smart TV, 5.1 surround sound, and hookups for gaming consoles as the centerpiece. Off to the right is a large sunroom with near-panoramic views of the lake, with French doors that open to a huge screened in balcony. The kitchen is spacious with a wall oven and cooktop in the island. All appliances were installed within the last few years. To top it off, the house is fitted with smart home equipment and all the lights and speakers can be controlled either by switch like normal, or via voice/phone/app commands.

You will also have access to the backyard, firepit, dock, kayaks, lake, and neighborhood amenities (beach, tennis, putt putt, basketball, and walking trail). I have restored a vintage speedboat and will be down mostly every weekend to maintain the yard and we can take the boat out for fun in the sun if that is your thing. Bring your friends for waterskiing or tubing behind the boat!

The common areas will be fully furnished, and the bedroom will come mostly furnished - we can discuss what you’ll need and I am happy to oblige.

The guest bedroom will be occupied by my best friend who has lived here for the last five years. He works from home stays to himself, but he is also a great person and more than willing to help out with anything. He keeps in his room mostly so there never is any conflict with the shared space.
