Our place in South Tacoma has an available room! Presently living in the home are LGBT mostly 25-30something working professionals. Our space is for active working individuals looking to save money by living in cohabitation with other working adults and students. We have an abundance of respect for each other’s privacy, peaceful enjoyment of the home my maintaining respect and working together to maintain cleanliness. We are an energy-conscious, green home. This listing is one room for a single adult occupant.! I want to emphasize “working” adults as a preference or those with significant financial resources for working students. Sources of acceptable income include regular employment (including self employment) or student loans/grants.

About the house and location: Our home is located near 74th and Oaks. The room is large enough for a queen or king bed and is around 16ft by 11 ft. There is one shared bathroom. The living area and kitchen are furnished, including access to some common-use dishes and cookware. Sadly, we do not have storage space on this property so all that you own must be able to fit in your room. There’s a common use TV including Netflix, HBO and amazon prime video. We also have a hot tub! House rules are few and simple: ALWAYS communicate. Never assume anything. ALWAYS act with respect, betraying that leads to a breakdown of communication. DON’T do anything to betray anyone’s trust, that leads to a breakdown of everything. Quiet time after 10pm and until 9am. One of us works early and another works late. Our new roommate must be CLEAN and understand that they will have to participate in our collaborative housekeeping agreement. Anyone who cooks here must be willing to clean, but fairness is important.

Be conscience of utility usage, especially electricity and water, to keep rents from going up.

Without needing to be a clean freak, be clean and be willing to maintain a group effort to take trash out, vacuum, etc, on a schedule.
