Unlike most listings here, this is a ~550 sq ft suite has a private entrance, en-suite bathroom, and kitchenette. It’s furnished as is shown in the pictures (includes microwave, refrigerator, freezer,kurig coffee maker, toaster oven, queen bed, desk, dresser, closet with an iron and ironing board, 42-inch TV with a 7.0 surround sound setup). And a multi-cooker does everything from baking, frying to pressuring cooking (rice in 5 minutes). The pictures were updated in April of 2025.
This suite is located within a house that is a ~12-minute walk from the Wheaton stop on the red line of the DC Metro, just north of the DC Beltway (I-495). Union Station, in downtown DC, is a 22-minute ride from Wheaton. A 13-minute Gideon Route 34 goes to NIH/Bethesda. Metro buses Q1, Q2, Q4, Q5, camp; Q6 get you to downtown (northern) Rockville. Catholic University is a 15-minute metro ride. A Safeway grocery store is right at the metro, and we?re within walking distance to the biggest shopping complex on the metro (including Target, Costco, Giant Food, Macy’s, 80 nearby restaurants, and 16 bars). The neighborhood has 21% the violent crime rate of DC and 60% that of Bethesda.

This suite lacks a washing machine and drier. However, there’s secure internal access to the rest of the house, and that includes a large and clean kitchen with a gas-powered stove, washer, drier, time and temperature programmable convection and microwave oven with rice cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator, fireplace, weight room, dining room, deck, outdoor grill, hammock, guest room, and an additional movie room for entertaining guests outside the suite if so desired.
Pre-paid video subscriptions include Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, ESPN+, Disney+, Paramount+, HBO, max, SHOWTIME, Fandago/Vudu (which is normally pay per view) and there are four networks offering over 10,000 live channels including the Roku Channel, Tubi, XumoPlay, PlutoTV, and about 40 local broadcast/terrestrial channels.
Although this unit has a separate entrance, there are indeed others living other areas of the large house.
