2600 sqft house. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood in west Miami.
Marble tile in the main areas. Wood floors in most of the bedrooms.
Ceiling fans, and recessed lighting throughout the house.
Central AC throughout house.
2 large main bathrooms.
Super high speed fiber internet WiFi 300mbs up/down speed.
Leather couches.
You get use of new washer and dryer.
You get full use of large kitchen fully equipped with pots/pans/dishes/silverware/all appliances
Filtered water is at the sink and at the refrigerator in the kitchen.
You get your own shelfs in the refrigerator and freezer, and a cabinet(s) for dry-goods.
We like to keep the main house area clean (no mess, no dirty dishes in sink).
I do a basic cleaning each week throughout the main areas of the house. Floors, kitchen, and bathrooms.
There is covered parking for bikes/motorcycles/scooters out front under the front terrace.
You will have your own parking space in the driveway, and no one else will need to park behind you
THE BACKYARD
There is a large covered terrace/hangout area with lighting, chairs, coffee table, outdoor ceiling fans
Propane grill, Charcoal Grill.
THE ROOM
Private room, ceiling fan, tile floor.
The room is furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, and chair - but you can bring your own furniture if desired.
There is a lock on your room door and you get the key, although there is no need to lock your door at our house.
Ethernet jack in room for direct internet access, as well as WiFi access.
THE LOCATION
The house is located in Tamiami close to 132nd ave and Sw 8th st.
We are 2.5 miles to FIU (south campus), 1/2 mile to Publix grocery store, 1/2 mile to a large strip mall/shopping centers, fast food, LA fitness gym, and everything you could ever need.
Basketball courts, volleyball nets, and skate park is 1 mile away
There is close highway access to 836 West
We are 4 min walking distance to the nearest bus stop.
Im about 30min to 1 hr drive from downtown or southbeach depending on traffic.
IDEAL PERSON
We are looking for someone who is friendly and fun, but also respectful of other people, and responsible.
We like to keep the living areas and kitchen clean. So you must be clean in the common areas (clean kitchen/wash dishes immediately after using it).
Any dishes left dirty in the sink may get thrown away on cleaning day. Also rent may be increased for anyone consistently leaving a mess in the kitchen, or they will be asked to move out.
Alcohol is no problem and cigarette smoking is fine outside under the terrace.
No practicing music in house or playing loud music.
No parties at the house.
RENT:
Rent month to month. I only need a 30 day notice if you need to move.
Rent includes power, water, high speed fiber internet, toilet paper, disposable kitchen items (soap, trash bags, etc), all house repairs/maintenance/yard service, and basic weekly cleaning in the house common areas (kitchen counters, floors, bathrooms).
If you stay shorter than 2 months, I charge a $200 service fee from the deposit, as its fairly time consuming to start the process over of finding and moving in a new house member.
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. After the 5th there is a late fee of $30.
$800 deposit for good credit (fully refundable).
Total price to move in = 1 months’ rent + deposit. Paying last month’s rent up front isn’t required.
No cats, dogs, or birds. Other small pets that dont
make noise is ok (rabbit, hamster, turtle, etc).
I don’t ask for rent and deposit up front. You only pay rent and deposit at the time of move in, not before.
