I have a cozy room available for rent starting July 15th. If July 15th does not work for you, we can accommodate an August 1st move-in if this is more convenient. You’ll be able to explore the room and common areas before moving in, and rest assured, I will make sure the room is thoroughly sanitized and disinfected just for you. It comes fully furnished for your comfort and is priced at $1500. A security deposit of $1500 and a background check are required before you settle in. I’m conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Palomar College and only a 5-minute drive to CSUSM, St. Katherine, and St. Augustine. Please note that there is currently one dog and several foster cats in the house. I’m really sorry, but this policy is firm, so we won’t be able to accommodate any requests for additional pets, so please don’t ask.
All individuals are invited, provided they are comfortable with sharing bathrooms with individuals of the other gender. Presently, there is one female residing in the home, and bathroom sharing has not been an issue. It is currently shown as a shared space with two queen-sized beds, but will be converted to a single space prior to move-in. The room will accommodate only one person and is not intended for couples.
The room is situated downstairs, close to one of the shared bathrooms and near the kitchen. There are two full bathrooms in total: one on the upper floor and one on the lower floor, both equipped with showers and shared among residents. The room is fully furnished, featuring a mini-fridge, ceiling fan, shelf storage, desk, air purifier, built-in storage beneath the bed, wall-to-wall mirrored closet, dresser, nightstand, lamp, a flat-screen TV, and a queen-sized bed with a pillow-top mattress. I prefer to rent to individuals with minimal furniture to avoid the added expense of storing my items. The flooring is bamboo hardwood, complemented by a new area rug that is welcoming to your bare feet.
The monthly rent covers all utilities, including gas, electricity, water, and WiFi (Cox Ultimate High-speed Internet). It also includes washer and dryer access, full kitchen privileges, and access to Amazon Prime Video. While guests are allowed to visit, they must leave the premises by 10 pm on weekdays and by midnight on weekends out of respect for the other tenants. Overnight guests, sleepovers, or hookups are prohibited. Please note that this is a single-family home, not a hotel. For overnight stays, long-term accommodations, or the occasional hookup, there are many hotels and motels nearby. However, this home is not intended for those purposes! This room comes with reserved parking.
No drugs, partying, vaping, or smoking (medicinal or otherwise) are permitted in or around the home. If cravings strike, you can easily walk to the community park to have a puff. Alcoholic drinks are allowed in your private spaces, like your bedroom, but please be considerate and refrain from bringing them into the common areas. While I may not be Martha Stewart or overly particular about cleanliness, we prefer not to live with messy individuals, endure unpleasant odors, or share space with someone who leaves their belongings everywhere or is inconsiderate of others’ private areas. Since we share common areas, please think twice about applying if you struggle with cleanliness or have a habit of leaving your items scattered. There are adults living here who do not want to clean up after you. Background checks are required before moving in.
