What a sweetheart of a deal! Room available to rent now! The previous tenant has moved out, and the room is available now. The room has been sanitized and disinfected and is ready for move-in. It is fully furnished and is priced at $990. A security deposit of $990 and a background check is required before move-in. I am within a 3-minute walking distance of Palomar College, a 5-minute drive time from CSUSM and St. Katherine, and a 3-minute drive to St. Augustine. You can easily walk to the Sprinter, which is near Palomar College. One dog and seven kittens (mostly fosters) are in the home, so no other animals are allowed. Sorry, there are no exceptions, so don’t ask.

There are two full bathrooms, one upstairs and the other downstairs, with full showers, which are shared. This room is fully furnished and has a mini-fridge, ceiling fan, a double closet, a dresser, a nightstand, a lamp, and a twin-sized bed with a pillow-top mattress. If you have your own furniture, this fully furnished room may not be your best option since I don’t plan to put my items in storage, which is an added expense. The room has ceramic tile flooring and a new area rug that is welcoming to your bare feet. The monthly rent includes all utilities (gas, electric, water, WiFi (Cox Ultimate Hi-speed Internet), washer and dryer privileges, and access to Amazon Prime Video.

Guests are welcome to visit, but in consideration of the other tenants, they will have to vacate the premises by 10 pm on weeknights and by midnight on weekends. NO OVERNIGHT GUESTS OR SLEEPOVERS ARE ALLOWED. This is a private single-family home and not a hotel/motel. However, if needed or necessary, there are plenty of hotels/motels in the surrounding area to accommodate your overnight, long-term, or visiting guests.

There is plenty of on-street parking for your vehicle; finding a parking space is a no-brainer.

No drugs, edibles, partying, vaping, or smoking (medicinal or otherwise) are allowed in or around the home. If your cravings kick in, you are within walking distance of the community park, where you can puff until your heart’s content. Alcoholic beverages are allowed in your private space, such as your bedroom, but in consideration of others, they are not allowed in the common areas. While I am no Martha Stewart or OCD about cleanliness, some adults here would rather not live with slobs, have to tolerate strange body odors, or co-exist with someone who doesn’t pick up after themselves or is inconsiderate of others or their private space. If this is an issue for you, or you would rather live in a more laid-back environment, please don’t bother applying. We are pretty happy here and don’t need or want added drama. Background checks are conducted and required before moving in.

Both male and female tenants are welcome if you don’t mind sharing the bathrooms with others, either male or female. However, the upstairs bathroom, which is where the vacant room is located, is primarily used by the current female tenant. The room is for SINGLE occupancy only and not for couples or those with dependent or visiting children.
