My name’s Jordan. I’m almost 23, and I work in environmental education in Nederland. Outside of the summer months, I work from home most of the time, so I tend to be home a lot. I’d say I’m pretty fun and easy to get along with. I like to be friends with whoever I’m living with, and I’d like my home to be as drama-free as possible. To me, this means open communication and mutual respect for each other’s personal property, livelihoods, and overall well-being. I enjoy being outdoors as much as I can, spending time with friends, going to the farmers’ market, and going for coffee. I also have a bit of a green thumb and love plants. I do have a cat, but I’m not looking to add any more pets to this apartment, as she doesn’t always get along with other little guys. She can be a bit of a grumpy old lady, but she’s also very loving. I’m okay with smoking, but would rather keep it in the garage or outside. I’m okay with guests as long as there’s communication, but I am also only looking for one roommate, not two, so no long-term guests, please.
In a roommate, I’m looking for cleanliness, especially in shared spaces, respect for each other’s property, communication, and promptness in paying rent and utilities. I’m very into sustainability, environmental justice, advocacy work, etc., and I’d love to live with someone like-minded.
I actually already have a place and I’m looking for one roommate to move in at the beginning of August. I’m located in Gunbarrel in the Powderhorn Condo complex. The rent is $1050/month, plus utilities. There is free parking, a pool, an in-unit washer & dryer, AC, a garage for storage, a front porch, and plenty of natural light. The drive into central Boulder is only about 15 minutes, plus there are nearby bus stops and bike trails.
