Hello, staying in Jersey City right now - moved here from Cape Town. I have lived in Chicago, various parts of California, and Johannesburg SA, and Lusaka - I’m looking for a room somewhere in Metro NY - a small room and a long commute don’t bother me. I’m looking for something between $850-1200
Ideal neighbourhoods are Ridgewood, Sunnyside, Flushing, Flatbush, and Bay Ridge, and also Astoria if something solid in my price range is available.
I like to hike, exercise, and find good spots to eat. I like to cook pizza as well and in the photos I shared, there is a photo of a deepdish pizza I made from scratch. I’m a big music fan and I can play some instruments, but that’s not really a priority for me right now. I also like to write, but again not a priority. I minored in Psychology and majored in English Creative Writing. I have an appreciation for both literature and psychology. I strive to understand everyone and I am generally pretty chilled.
