Hi! I’m a cat dad and I’m looking to rent my roommate’s old room now that our lease is up. I clean, I’m super friendly, I communicate, and make decent money. I clean and put energy into a home, I help out my roommates, and generally love creating a pleasant vibe in a home. I need a bit of room to perform my work-from-home at my home office, but I’m not picky beyond that!
Beyond that, I’m neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, am a big lovable nerd, and stand pretty tall at 6’ 2“. I love talking film, movies, and tv. I’m huge into D&D and TTRPGs, as well as board games and card games. I am trying to get out and do more exercise/fitness, and wherever we live I’ll be trying to create routines/habits around fitness classes. I play video games on my computer with my headphones in occasionally, and the loudest I get is if I’m drinking (verrrrry infrequently) socially on a discord call and I’m laughing and cracking jokes a bit too loud. It’s super easy to come talk to me and tell me to lower the volume if it’s a bit too much any given night.
My two cats are lovable little calicos, one is super nervous and the other extremely outgoing. You’ll love both of them! I’m pretty good about introducing them to new people and new animals, so just communicate with me about how best to do it and we’ll make it happen!
Side note, my long hair calico - she’s a big fluffy calico with too much anxiety trapped in that tiny little body. Fun fact, she was also born on Halloween, already “dressed” in her orange and black fur. She’s so festive! The other one is a short haired calico who traveled here to the Colorado shelter system from where she was born in a dangerous part of Hawai’i. She traveled quite a distance before I adopted her!
While it’d be great to be friends as roommates, it’s not a requirement. My minimum hope is courtesy between one another. An example is like “oh no! I locked my keys in my car. Jake, can you grab my spare car key from the house and drive it to me?” That sort of thing is a gesture I’m happy to give and hope to get in return. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to meeting you for coffee, tea, a meal, a beer, or a lovely walk in a park somewhere!
