Hi all! I’m looking to form a group of 2-4, including myself to rent a place together. I’m open to renting a house/townhome with 3 others in a 4-bedroom place. I’m also open to renting a house/townhome with 2 others in a 3-bedroom place. I’m also open to getting a 2-bedroom apartment with another housemate. Overall, I am open to all these options. The most important thing is being able to find the right housemate and the right place for us.
I am a Marketing Strategist and work in Los Alamitos. The following cities are where I am open to move to: Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Garden Grove, Westminster, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Signal Hill, Long Beach (not Downtown), Cerritos, Artesia, Norwalk, Buena Park, Cypress, La Palma, Lakewood, and Bellflower.
In terms of budget, for 3 or 4 bedroom place, I’m looking for a housemate with a budget up to 1,300 (without utilities). The houses prices would range around 1,200-1,300 for the regular rooms. As for a 2-bedroom apartment, I’m looking for a housemate with a budget up to 1,700 (without utilities). I would be paying more for the Primary bedroom. The nice 2-bedroom apartments ranges from 2,700-3,600 a month. I would prefer under 3,300 a month so it would range from 1,350-1,700 per person. Also, going for an apartment with laundry unit inside.
Timeline wise, I am very flexible. I would wait until we find a good housemate and good place. I do prefer to move sooner than later but it is not a deal breaker.
In terms of housemate qualities I’m looking for, I am ideally looking for other professionals with established careers. Open to also housemates that are working towards goals. We are looking for responsible and clean individual. Sorry, no pets. It’s just hard to find a house for rent that allows pets and I don’t want that to be a factor in them making a decision for selecting us as a tenant. Looking to create an environment of positive energy, cleanliness, respect, and more.
