Hey there! I’m military, looking for (1) long term roommate for a minimum of 12 mo and at most 36 mo. I plan on living in base housing on Hickam AFB. Rent will be around $1,500 (same for me), the internet bill will be split. Non-negotiables: no kids, no extra roommate and no couples; and no drugs and no smoking of any kind.

Roommate can have (1) cat or (1) small/medium dog but there are breed restrictions due to base housing (no pet fees of any kind). I have a loving, hypoallergenic and non-neutered 26 lb Schnauzer, Mowgli - he loves to snuggle and be everyone’s shadow. The dogs must meet to ensure they get along. Depending on the cat Mowgli will either be super friendly or super afraid (he steers clear of cats that don’t like him or scare him).

I’ll have with me bedroom furniture (even for second bedroom), kitchenware, dining table, couches and a car. Work schedule is M-F from 0730-1630 (weekends are days off), would prefer a roommate with a similar schedule so we don’t disturb one another when sleeping during the week and would like for neither of us to need to be to quiet on the weekends - I love to host but I’ll check with roommate to deconflict before hosting.

Organizing is a hobby (think the tv show Home Edit & Marie Kondo 😅), slippers/chancletas over shoes in the house and no food in the bedrooms (I actually love bugs but prefer finding them outside). Additionally, I love the water, volleyball, rugby, dancing, karaoke, anything artsy, traveling, trying new restaurants and a well made drink. I’m huge on communicating as it can ensure a respectful and harmonious environment.
