Northwest 29th Street
About the room
Right across the street from the North Alternative Co-op for easy access to food/supplies/ingredients. Right next to a cafe open Wednesday to Sunday. Within biking distance of Fred Meyers and OSU. Quiet neighborhood. Room is on the top of technically 3 floors though it’s more like 2.5 cause the bottom floor is sunk into the ground. It has a place to tie bikes up outside and plentiful parking space around. On site laundry (payable by app fortunately/unfortunately). Pretty great amount of storage in kitchen (and I have some shelves that can be used if that’s still not enough), no carpets/all somewhat-new laminate(?) fake wood. I’ve got living room furniture already, including a dining table, small couch, TV, some decorations. Ceiling lights in every room, appliances are new (mostly black plastic or stainless steel). Stove is electric. Several fire alarms. No AC in the apartment, though it’s possible to use your own. Electric heaters. There’s a pretty good amount of outlets compared to some other places I’ve lived in Corvallis.
Your room has its own closet, one of those with a shelf and a clothes hanger bar just below that at about head height. The window is facing west overlooking the small parking lot and the neighbor’s yard/tall bushes. It’s comfortably big enough to fit a queen bed, desk, and some other furniture.
About the roomies
I live with my two cats, who are very sweet if shy.
I tend to be pretty quiet, and will likely host D&D games on occasion with friends. I’m a trans woman, so would very much appreciate someone who is alright with that. Very LGBTQ+ friendly, I love gaming both in tabletop/board and video gaming sense. I graduated from OSU in 2022. I work as a writer and a manufacturing systems engineer. I also like to draw.
