It’s about 13 minutes away from Downtown Phoenix. It’s a 2-story, the upper kitchen and living room would be accessible, and there is a park that we have an access gate to right outside the front door.

My name is Hira Ismail, she/her. I’m reaching out about potentially being roommates. I work as a Youth Leadership Coordinator at a local AANHPI focused nonprofit organization. I’ve lived in Arizona for most of my life but went to college out of state on the East Coast. My politics are liberal. I’m in my early 30’s. I will be moved in by the end of this month. It’s located about 13 minutes by car from Downtown Phoenix ASU. I actually completed my Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management there, I’m an alumna. The condo is a 2-story home, with one room and a bathroom downstairs and two upstairs. The upper rooms would be mine, and downstairs would be for my roommate. Laundry is downstairs so I would be sharing that. I also have a two-car garage that would be shared. There is a park right outside the front door! I also have cats! Two of them, very friendly, they’re littermates and brothers, just turning 1 years old. My needs are that the home remain alcohol and smoke free. I might be flexible if alcohol is kept in the person’s room or mini-fridge, and not in the shared kitchen. But ideally, a sober space. I’m Muslim so I don’t drink or smoke. I’m medium messy, but keep shared spaces clean. The room would be $1100 per month, and additional utilities and Wi-Fi would be split.
