About the room
TWO ROOMS AND PRIVATE BATH FOR RENT – SANTA CLARITA $2,200/MONTH | UTILITIES INCLUDED
I’m looking for a woman roommate who is looking for a home, not just a room.
I’m hoping to find a woman in her 30s (give or take), someone kind, reliable, and looking for a home rather than just a place to sleep. I work from home as an Executive Assistant, so the house tends to be pretty quiet during the day.
The space available includes two private rooms and a private bathroom. Having two private rooms gives you a little extra breathing room and makes the setup feel much more like your own space within the home.
The house itself is a 4-bedroom home in Santa Clarita with a pool, spa, large backyard, outdoor dining area, and plenty of cozy places to sit and unwind. Utilities are included, and you’ll have dedicated kitchen cabinet storage, linen storage, street parking, and access to all shared living spaces. The backyard is honestly one of my favorite parts of the property—it’s full of mature trees, plants, bird feeders, hummingbird visitors, and little spots to relax throughout the day.
I keep a cozy, vibey home. The overhead lights are rarely on. Think lamps, candles, soft lighting, plants, music in the background, and evenings spent outside by the pool. If you’re the kind of person who likes a calm space, enjoys nesting, gardening, home projects, or simply appreciates a peaceful atmosphere, we’ll probably get along well.
About the roomies
I’m gay, so I’d especially love to find another queer woman, though that’s certainly not a requirement. More than anything, I’m looking for someone warm, respectful, and easy to share space with. I’d love for this to feel friendly and comfortable rather than like strangers passing in the hallway.
I have two sweet dogs, Bailey (a Border Collie) and Joey (a Pomeranian), who are very much part of the household.
I’m also cannabis-friendly. I don’t mind if someone partakes, and I’m happy to keep that habit outdoors. My only expectation is that it’s done respectfully and that the house remains clean and considerate for everyone living here.
Cleanliness is important to me. I’m not looking for perfection, but I do appreciate people who reset a room when they’re done using it, clean up after themselves, and help maintain the peaceful feeling of the home. The goal is for all of us to enjoy the space.
Bonus points if you enjoy gardening, helping with little house projects, lounging by the pool, or sitting outside with a candle and a glass of wine talking about life.
