Hello!

I am currently looking for another roommate (female preferred!) to fill the 2nd bedroom in my cute 2bed/1bath apartment located in the super lovely Colonial Village neighborhood in Arlington VA, between Rosslyn and Court House. The available room is spacious (can comfortably fit a queen size bed with ample space left over), with sunny south facing windows, and a large closet (the length of an entire wall!)

Available for move in ASAP, ideally July 1st

• Rent is $1225 each per month
• Utilities (electric/internet) are usually between $50-$90
• $1225 security deposit required
• 12 month lease
• The landlords are great and very responsive when needed, plus incredibly nice and laid back. They do require a brief application, including a job reference -No pets please

Great space: The apartment is very cozy and comfortable, and I keep it nice and clean. It also has plenty of natural light and great views—perfect for your plants and watching all the cute neighborhood dogs! There is a surprising amount of closet space throughout, a private storage unit, and the option for separate bike storage. The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances, including a new fridge and stove. There is 1 bathroom, but sharing has never been an issue.

Ideal location: <5 minute walk from the Courthouse metro station (Orange/Silver) and <10 minute walk from the Rosslyn station (Blue/Orange/Silver). <5 min drive to get on I-66, GW Parkway, or Key Bridge, and plenty of street parking spaces always available right in front of the building. You only need a $50 Arlington County parking pass that lasts all year, so no worries about expensive monthly parking fees. Tons of great bars and restaurants all very close by.

A bit about me: I’m a PhD student (environmental science & public policy) in my early 30s. When I’m not busy with school, I love going out on the weekends with my friends, doing anything outdoors/hiking/camping, happy hour/trivia nights, going to shows/concerts, occasionally having friends over for drinks, and relaxing at home watching movies or a tv show.
